Barun was Director – Industry Vertical Sales in his last assignment at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In this position he was responsible for overall Enterprise Sales in India across all the verticals – Banking & Finance, Communications, Media & Entertainment, Manufacturing & Distribution Industries and Public Sector & Midmarket Business. In his capacity he was also responsible for business from Inbound Global Accounts all amounting to > USD 0.75 Bil.

He was earlier the Board Member of SNIA (Storage Networking Industry Association) and was recently member of NASSCOM Domestic Council 2017-19 till he left HPE. He is the Committee Member of CII Eastern Region Chapter for both ICT & Sports Management. He is a visiting faculty member at Praxis Business School, Kolkata. He is a Founder Director & CEO of Sportskedia Pvt Ltd & Director & CEO of Barun Sales & Advisory Service Pvt Ltd. Barun is an Advisor & Chief Mentor to StrategINK.

As the founder of StrategINK, Vinod is responsible for the management and business operations of the company. Under his visionary leadership, StrategINK has grown exponentially with a YoY CAGR of 309% in FY 2018-19. During his entrepreneurial journey of 4 years, Vinod has single handedly added more than 40 clients, opened 7 offices across India.

Before his entrepreneurial journey with StrategINK, Vinod worked with IDC India and Cybermedia for more than a decade. As part of the Go-To-Market Services team, Vinod handled various functions like Sales, Marketing and Business Development. His contribution to the group was much appreciated and he was awarded as the Best Employee twice by the company. He played a pivotal role in launching various new revenue sources and also launched IDC Insights Awards, the maiden IDC’s offsite platform with a captive audience of 150 IT leaders in Hyderabad.

Vinod is an Amity alumnus and has a dual Master’s in Business Administration in IT and Marketing. He graduated in e-commerce from Indraprastha University, New Delhi. He is based out of Gurugram, National Capital Region, India.
